Its a pleasant, well behaved sky blue, difficult to capture digiatally, so a lot of fiddling in camera and photoshop was necessary to approximate the actual color ... WebMar 19, 2024 · At first sight, this Diamine ink looks like a fairly classic Royal Blue. On second sight, it definitely is a bit softer and darker, with a hint of purple undertones. For my personal taste though, it is too close to a standard blue to pique my interest. But it still is a solid performer, and a worthwhile workhorse ink.

WebAug 10, 2024 · Another vote for Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue, one of my favorite inks that will handle cheap paper very well. Diamine Royal Blue is a very nice blue, bluer than 4001 but it might feather on cheap paper. Also you could consider Pilot Blue. It is not washable, in fact it's very water resistant and depending on your paper ti could behave well.
